Punter, Hubbs, and Moore were good players for us during that era. They aren’t in the same league as the greats, of course, but they played hard and seemed like good guys. We didn’t make the tournament but we certainly weren’t an easy out.

Hubbs didn't play hard at all on that first team. That first year was a tough love year for Robert and he finally was a better player for it but he bucked the system badly in year 1

He was terrible in the 2nd half

258/.332/.369 is a far cry from his first half stats but is still serviceable. Hopefully Duvall can spell him. He wasn't meant to play an entire season at that pace. I far prefer him over the other free agents teams are paying too much for. I think this can allow us to go after Kimbrell too

If they platoon him some and bat him lower in the lineup it isn’t terrible, but I think they could’ve done better. He better not be in the cleanup spot again tho. That needs to be Donaldson
