Showing respect for players

So, now I'm supposed to kiss some high school kid's ass?

STFU and GTFO

Second that. It's not our responsibility to get the recruits here. It is the coaches responsibility to field a team to show them why they should be a Tennessee Vol. It wasn't the booing that showed them why they should not be a Vol.

Would Clawson be here had Randy not been fired?

Continuity man.....we have none. We've had 3 OC's in three years. Did you honestly think our offense was going to be good?

I thought it would have been to the level, of you know, my pee wee football team.

You're good at being wrong.

What I think about the offense has as much to do with it as that article you linked has to do with our fanbase.

Unfortuately, you and many others are in denial. You pretend that we have the athletes that UF has, and we don't. Not even close. But we're not alone.

The problem with the cry babies among us is that they believed when we got on top we would stay there forever. It doesn't happen. Just talk to

Nebraska
Miami
Bama
etc, etc

I'm still laughing at you saying I'm in denial.

As for the three programs you listed, well, they made coaching changes.

So, again, what's your point?

Uh, there is a difference between sitting on your coach complaining and booing in the stands when there are 5 star recruits in the section above you. Sorry you can't see the difference
.

You really dont see how unintelligent you are appearing. Have you ever thrown your hands up at a dropped pass, or made one negative gesture at a blown play, coaching blunder, etc, while sitting in the confines of Neyland Stadium. Now, the point is, if you have done this, you are guilty of being negative in front of potential recruits. Not to mention, maybe offending a fan of the opposing team. Booing, gesturing, and negative spoken words cannot be separated. They are all extensions of emotions. Do away with one, you gotta do away with them all! You may find booing as classless. I agree sometimes it is. But sometimes it is warranted as well. But before you go hurling stones at the boo birds of today, you might want to think back and see if you just might be guilty of the same. Albeit by some other method of negativity.

I'm going to bed after this, but shouldnt part of the draw the coaches advertise be that the fans are out there cheering hard for them out of their love of the school each week?...not that the fans are leaving half-way through a still winnable game and will boo your mistakes in big games?

I don't get how 20-0 at half, with us f-ing up at every turn is a "winnable" game.

Please tell me you're actually using a team that is currently in the top 10 as proof of your point?

??????? Uh, again, there is a diffence between a "negative word" vs 50000 people booing as the team leaves the field. Sorry you don't see the difference.

Bama ruled the world in the 60's and 70's. Went down hill. Returned early 90's, went down hill. Currently in the top 10.

See a cycle? There are dozens of examples of the "cycle".

In essence, not really. Those 50,000 people are booing at thier own discression.

The only difference is that "negative" words are not used by 50,000 in unison.

Okay, this has gotten troll-like. Good night fans that are happy with running OCs off and booing recruits away.
