Maybe, but two dudes watching that travesty unfold, no more than 25 feet away in s not due to poor team dynamics

I don't mind admitting that live that I thought the hit was clean. It wasn't until the back view came that it became clear to me there should have been a flag

With that said if the official closer to the LOS saw it like i did perhaps the back side official wasn't as comfortable calling it because they hadn't worked together before.

Anyway a confort level as a crew can't be a bad thing imo.

Fulmer extended Holy last year.
Do we know the details of the extension?

I think those details tell us a lot about Fulmer and he should be judged on them imo

He extended the contract and lowered the buyout. I think they owe her $600K +/- if they fire her this year.

That was pre Summitt. That tells you that Holly needs to resign before she digs the lady Vols into a deeper hole.
I’m not sure who would replace her mid season. Maybe would be better to just let everyone know she’s done at the end of the season. I don’t what the right thing to do is, in this situation.

Phil will wait till the end of the season and give her respect. The guys are doing great,-- no need to be Debby downer, right now.

I just think it would be better for her if she resigned during the season. The hostility towards her would just keep building as the season goes on.

Lord knows I don't give a damn about Women's hoops but I care a lot about how or AD manages $ and his coaches. It's very relevant to the sports i do care about so he does deserve to be judged on it.

Fix football, and he rides off into the sun set as the hero. I don't care what he spends on coaches. Nor do I care if he does anything with women bball!!!!!

If it was only that simple he'd have a very easy job.

The facts of his job are he must have an AD that is prepared for a football program that needs to replace Jeremy Pruitt either for failing or succeeding. I find it relevant for either one of those with how he has and is going to handle Holy.

Always found it ridiculous that coaches can not control themselves to back up 4 feet, as though their coaching improves dramatically as they touch the field

That is pretty funny. He literally follows him.

But I do understand why coaches have to be reminded. When you are in the zone of coaching, you want to be as close as you can to your players. Communication, seeing what your players see, getting a feel for play calling, etc.- all things a coach wants to be a part of.

I don't borrow trouble from tomorrow. If Phil has to replace Pruitt he will be judge on the replacement. Not if he handle women's basketball firing/hiring correctly this year...This is where we differ I don't care how much money he spends or doesn't spend.

From what's been posted here it sounds like Fulmer handled the extension very well with Holy.

Imo he did a very poor job on the buyout for Pruitt if he leaves for Alabama.

The holly eXtension made me Glad to see he isn't always pro coach with his contracts.
