If that was the NBA, I agree that it was for ratings. However, the Super Bowl gets high ratings anyway. Teams like TB, Arizona, Seattle, New Orleans, Indy, Denver, etc. have been there since 2000.

I just think the officials were tentative and afraid to make a mistake...and ironically, they did.
