Thanks so much. Your story sounds like a carbon copy of ours. Jan 11 was the day we lost ours, we too, are keeping his remains so we can have all our children under one roof and we have an older child dealing with the sadness.
Ours was a “lightning” strike as there was no evidence of anything wrong. Again...thank you! It helps to hear the stories of others.

My wife and I lost our third child in March of 2015. He/she just stopped forming for some unknown reason...it was difficult especially for my wife who couldn't help but feel like she had done something wrong. Things were difficult in our lives at that point and we nearly divorced. Fast forward to today and our lives have done a 180. Stable marriage, happy/healthy children and promising careers. We are at a point where we can look back and accept that things happen for a reason even if events are heartbreaking at the time.

My hope is that any who go through difficult times in their life find the peace and happiness that we have. Kudos to all of those who are able to share their story and provide comfort and hope to those in pain.

Yes, even three years later thoughts of guilt still pop up, they are the devil’s tool. Just know you did the best and made the best decisions at the time. Trust the divine plan, its the only way to Peace, God Bless you all!

It’s interesting to read those comments. Why do they dislike Smart so much? The LPGA comments were funny too.

I was wondering if they’d use the b-ball game for recruiting this weekend. Would love to see a list of those visiting.

I think no matter what, they will always see Pruitt as one of theirs - a kid from the state who did well. It'd be like Jason Witten. No matter where he ends, or what he does, folks from East TN will always be proud because he's one of ours who did well and has done it with class. I also think there's a sincerity that comes from starting as a school teacher who just wanted to be like his high school coach dad that's just relatable to a lot of folks from small towns, just like hearing stories about Witten playing ball for childhood hero - his grandpa.

Meanwhile, I will always have the hunch that Kirby is probably a turd.

Posters who turn on our players are heartless quitters. And if you take offense to this post maybe you shouldn't throw the first stone. Still love you Ulysses. Just saying.
Lol...I'm still here. And that is a load of crap. The only players I've ever had a problem with are in the soft, unmotivated quitter faction that everybody knows has been a big part of this team. EVERYBODY agrees this team had to have a massive culture change...what culture would that be Sleegro?

Give me a break.

I read this forum religiously but rarely post...you start to feel like you know people in here even if you don't interact with them much.

I hope that people continue to share their life experiences. You never know how many people read your posts and how much they might help someone.

In a time of internet drama and disrespect, Volnation is a tuly remarkable place and shows why we have one of the best fanbase in the world....except for the FF, lol.

Too late I've already framed the narrative and started spreading it. Now anytime people see yer avatar they will feel the urge to post hateful things about you. You may as well transfer to liberty. They're probably the only school that would take you.
Actually, I have a masters degree from there. So theres that. Lol.

Great school.

To all the posters that have lost children:
Thank you for opening up personally. As a father of 2 young ones I think everyone takes for granted how lucky we are during times of life and work. Had a vendor at work who lost his son in a car crash a day after Christmas and he told me no matter what is going on in life never take the time you spend with your kids for granted. You guys have amazing faith and are very strong. A lot stronger then I will ever be. Appreciate you all opening up on here.
