TrumPutinGate

I seriously doubt that is going to happen. Mueller has thrown all his resources against an open ended search for a crime...any crime. And he hasn’t dug up anything.

Trump has a big mouth. He cannot stop himself from talking...mostly about himself. I don’t think Trump could keep the lid on his crimes.

As entertaining as this is, st the end of the day, it’s a damned shame. The power of the the government is being used to try to destroy an elected politician....because other people don’t like him. The story is that simple. Will be a stain on the history of the country. This is third world thuggery here.

Mueller will play it straight.

Trump is shady as hell, and everybody knows it. His campaign had Russians at every turn, everyone knows it. Polling data exchanges, promises of dirt on the opposition in exchange for sanctions being lifted. Lies upon lies about the meetings and communications. Just happy coincidences though, the state run propoganda campaigns and server hacks. After all Putin said he didn't do it!

Thirid world thuggery. Like calling for the prosecution of your political opponent. Like rounding up kids from asylum seeking families and moving them around in the dead of night to hide ithem from the press? Like using the armed forces and boy scouts as political props. Oh jeez it goes on to boundless depths..

So, let's not forget

Stain on the country for sure.

He was only trying to reset relations with Russia.

You have plenty of allegations masquerading as facts here. If they are proven true then we'll have that discussion. 24 hours ago a fact was that he directed Cohen to lie (even though it wasn't fact it was treated as fact). Today we are seeing that "fact" is dissolving.

He's shady to be sure. No denial. I'll wait for findings over allegations on the rest.

which ones do you think aren't true?

It's just odd the level of detail, then a general denial. Not sure what to make of the whole thing
It was very Lawyer-like. The statement said a lot without being specific at all. Plus, I believe the BuzzFeed editor, Ben Smith, when he says he called Peter Carr (the Mueller team spokesman) for a comment on the story before they ran it... and they declined comment, but then they issue a comment after it's published? Kind of strange.

all or none or somewhere in between. there have been no findings. these are allegations. let's see the evidence, have the due process then I'll make my assessment.

is it possible that if you don't like Trump you are more likely to believe allegations against him? (human nature says yes - that's the beauty of due process)

he's back! drag LG in

imagine a statement from a legal organization being "lawyer-like". mind boggling.

Dude, which ones?

No mistaking I despise the man, and I've always supported due process.

Why wait until after the story is published to debunk it? They were given a chance to debunk it before it ran and kill the story. I mean, does the Mueller team have it in for the staff at BuzzFeed or something?

Are you positive they had a chance to kill it? I am not positive of anything, and that is why I am waiting for this to end.

in general I'm inclined to believe that collusion did not occur. however I'm open to be proven wrong by findings.

my most likely (over 50%) scenario is that Russia fed Steele some plausible crap and either people bought it or thought it was sufficient to thwart Trump that they went forward. We just learned the Orr told a bunch of people including those seeking the original FISA authorization that the dossier was payed for by Clinton and unverified. That information was omitted (I'd have to think willfully) from the FISA application.

Trump probably F'd up a few things but I doubt they were in cahoots with Russia. I'm open to being proven wrong and I do not have a high degree of confidence in my current beliefs.

you've cracked the case - Mueller was parodied in one of those 21 dudes you don't want to meet in the shower BF posts.

Payback is SWEET!
