Would be funny if Cowboys stole Coley

To be fair, anyone with a pulse could run Jason Garret’s 1970’s offensive schemes. He is the Holly Warlick of NFL coaching: works for arguably the most storied team in the NFL, has an outdated offensive scheme, and it really doesn’t matter how much talent his team has they will still underachieve more times than not.

Holly is second to Pat on the list in regards to how Lady Vol basketball reached its apex. She has been on campus for 40+ years and literally helped build the program. She has done more for the university than you, I or 99% of the people over there ever will.

Her stint as head coach has not worked out given the high standard set previously by Pat. But she has not been an abject failure and there should be no question of her heart or her intentions. It hurts her much more than it hurts us that she can’t seem to right the ship.

She deserves our respect.[/QUOTE

Maybe she just needs to scare 'em like in Bull Durham. Too bad basketball doesn't have an equivalent of an armload of bats you can throw into the showers. A bunch of bouncing basketballs wouldn't have the same effect.

Thanks for posting. I lost my son a week ago today (on my birthday). He was 17 weeks in the womb but very much alive to my wife and me. We were able to hold his tiny body knowing he would never experience the life we know. He’s really the lucky one. He’s safe now tucked tight in the arms of God.

Pat built the program, Holly was just along for the ride.

Not totally true, but still, it doesn't matter who the coach is now. The situation is that the basketball team is not playing good basketball, and changes need to be made. If - big if - Holly can change things before she is removed from the position, then fine. Otherwise, a change has to be made - and soon.

Sending you love and light. My wife and tried for years, numerous endo surgeries, finally got pregnant, and lost him (we had Named him Josh) almost 4 months in. We still talk to him and celebrate the time we had thinking about what life would be like with him.

I don't think he was sandbagging at all. I feel that with new coaching, some guys it takes the year for the light to come on. Kyle Phillips, IMO, never looked like a player that half-***ed it during games.
I agree, and I've never felt, and still don't feel, that he was part of the problem, it is just kinda weird that he is all of a sudden playing like we thought he would.

Oh my word, I’m so sorry to hear this. Yes he was very much a life and part of your story. Praying for a time of grieving and healing for you. We are dealing with a close family member who just completed a D&C for a miscarriage.

2 of those are losing their starting RT with young no experience behind them. The other is losing their LT and the guy behind him already got replaced once. He would be brought in to compete for a starting spot at all 3
And as soon as each of those 3 schools see how soft and terrible he is, he'll be riding the bench. Theres a reason hes leaving here, its because hes terrible and about to be beaten out by true freshman. The same is likely to happen at those other schools.

Thats pretty harsh criticism. He was 3rd on the team in tackles and second in tackles for loss and sacks. Those stats were also better than anyone on UGA except Deandre Walker. Those kind of numbers as a linemen in a 3-4 are pretty good. I'd understand mentioning no showing the previous three years but he played really well for us this season.
Oh come on..that was not harsh, actually read what I said before tearing into me to get likes.

It was truth. He never really played up to what he was supposed to be, and injuries were the reason why. It is not wrong to say that.

I agree he played good this year...but.

A terror to opposing RBs and QBs he was not.

They wouldn’t take if they didn’t think think he could compete lol
