This made me chuckle...

In the past, coaches have wanted out of Knoxville. It was seen as a place that could damage their reputation and future career prospects. That does not appear to be the case anymore. In fact, it's beginning to look like the opposite may very well soon be the case. It's good to be a fan of Vol football.

You have to admit that it's pretty amazing that he'd turn down a coordinator position for a new coach that will probably get at least 5 years to show progress to remain at Tennessee with Pruitt.

To me that really speaks volumes as to the expectations of him and our coaches to where they believe Pruitt is going to lead our total rebuild and future success.

The light is getting a bit brighter for our footVOL Team.

I have to really like this, it's a serious sign of good things to come and that our coaches really believe it.

VFL...GBO!!!

It is. I was just busting her chops about "just reported". I think it should be a sticky and any new threads should be translated to pictures and emailed to Bearcat so he doesn't miss out on anything.

So is Tee just going to be the QB coach and recruiting coordinator? I wonder why Pruitt wants to retain Weinke?

Why wouldn't he?

Is the RB position the one position that we have enough talent but the coaching is the problem? Iyo?

I was just thinking that Weinke has been very underwhelming. I thought he would have a lot of great connections in FLA to help with recruiting the state. He has been our weakest recruiter. It just seems like he is an odd man out.

I don't know why we would expect him to work any miracles we're not expecting anyone else to and fire him because he's not.
