I said this before and I'll say it again, if Helton is truly bad mouthing Pruitt that reflects poorly on Helton, not Pruitt. All other accounts are that coaches want to work for him and players love playing for him. Sounds like Helton was the bad seed, glad he's gone. Pruitt upgraded big time.

I probably agree here. But even though he was good with special teams that could've been just because they used half their practice time on special teams, which is unusual, and not just 1 or 2 periods.

You didn't. It's typical message board fodder. Someone heard it from someone who heard it from someone who read it from someone claiming insider status who was peeing in a urinal next a player and overheard him talking to another player at the sink about how Helton looked upset after a coaches meeting.
He even publically praised Pruitt and UT's future under him when he took the upgrade to HC job.

If that ends up being the case, IMO I'm not too worried. Kelly's a good coach, but his play calling at FSU left a little to be desired, and those squads he had were loaded with some good talent.

He's about even with Tosh in terms of DC potential, but I don't think he's near the recruiter Tosh "Money's in the Coffee Cup" Lupoi is.

VQ mods mentioned it on a podcast. And of course the insider message board talk. I’m not saying it’s true, I actually think it’s more likely false. But I’m saying if it is true it looks bad on Helton, not Pruitt. And clearly we’ve upgraded at the OC position.
