Thought he played at Sweetwater? Seems like I played against him and that Sweetwater team in the state tournament. They were stout. Had a power forward who was dominant. Don’t remember his name.
Swain mentioned this morning when talking about Tosh, that Saban is tough on his people, and coaches get tired of the daily ass chewings
I mean, they're grown ass men so I can see that having an impact
Saban is just asking for bad karma if he keeps Butch around.I truly hope Saban gives the keys to Bama's O to Botch. It would be a brick by brick display of complimentary football by the future champions of life brought to the CFB world by the best staff in America.
Own it and make it happen, Nicky.
Where did reports of Helton bad mouthing Pruitt come from. I was gone for a while so I guess I missed it.I said this before and I'll say it again, if Helton is truly bad mouthing Pruitt that reflects poorly on Helton, not Pruitt. All other accounts are that coaches want to work for him and players love playing for him. Sounds like Helton was the bad seed, glad he's gone. Pruitt upgraded big time.
I probably agree here. But even though he was good with special teams that could've been just because they used half their practice time on special teams, which is unusual, and not just 1 or 2 periods.WR coach and special teams cordinator and he's a great hire.
Bama has been really bad at SPecial teams for awhile now

If that ends up being the case, IMO I'm not too worried. Kelly's a good coach, but his play calling at FSU left a little to be desired, and those squads he had were loaded with some good talent.Wonder if Kelley declined Maryland in hopes for Bama job.
