Back in the 90s, a friend of mine's dad had problems with someone running over mailboxes in the neighborhood. Dad was a metalworker, so he mounted his mailbox on a 3x3 steel post, buried it in concrete several feet deep, wrapped it in 1x6s, painted it, etc...

It wasn't long before someone donated the front end of their car to it and had to sit there flushing their coolant system into the street at 3am while everyone waited for the police to show up.

There was a house near our HS that always had a huge pile of leaves in the fall. Kids would drive their cars through it, which of course pissed the guy off. He dropped a few cinder blocks in the pile one day. One morning my buddy comes in to school and says come look at my car. He had one of those Volvo 240’s with the air dam almost to the ground. It had ripped that completely off and gouged his skid plate to hell. He said he was probably doing close to 40 when he hit the pile. The best part was he couldn’t say **** about it because he’d have to admit he’d been doing it to screw with that guy.
