They do play more of a one on one game, but one of their assistants is a former coach of the year in the NBA. So, he has some experience on his staff.

According to 247 he's credited with the signings of Gray, Maurer, Burrell and Akporonghene this season. And it's his first ever season on the road recruiting. That's a good class IMO.

You understand that depth charts, location, position coaches, atmosphere around the program, acedemic structure/offerings, student body amongst other things also come into play which might allow a recruit to choose a school for more than what the head coach is ???


I hope you understand that and don't need a news flash to tell you recruiting is far from the same all the time where the head coach is all that matters.

If Kelly leaves, who takes over Special Teams?

Also, have you heard anything on Anthony Harris? Still expected to be part of this class?

If that is true (not saying I agree) then they need to lose to a team they underestimate. That way maybe they will be less prone to being upset in the Dance.

Yup. That was where I saw the stat. I knew we had quite a few double digit wins but I didn’t realize that EVERY game besides the Gonzaga game was a double digit win.

Not going to dispute you because you’re obviously very well connected but this doesn’t jive with what Ive heard with Weinke. Which was that he was looking to leave but might be having a hard time finding an acceptable landing spot.

He may ultimately stay, and I can’t vouch for whether or not he’s good at his job or if Pruitt likes him, but at some point he was looking elsewhere. Could all be resolved and if Pruitt likes him and wants to keep him then that’s good enough for me.
