We need a 7-5 or 8-4 season bad in 2019. Would really solidify the momentum we have right now and make 2020 an absolutely monster recruiting class.
Pruitt wants a lot of the in state talent this year. If we can land those guys we’ll be well on our way. My biggest want is that DE Murphy who was teammates with Tank. Hope we land him. Have to land some running backs in this class also.

We gotta start locking down the state. Tee is going to make a big difference there.

Correction. Aaron coaches at Oak Ridge. He grew up in and played for his dad at Sweetwater High School. Quit his job and became grad assistant under Bruce Pearl. Went to Oak Ridge after Pearl was fired. Pretty sure he coached Tee Higgins.
Thanks for the correction. I do remember him when he was in Knoxville. I guess my memory of him, before that, is a little hazy.

For sure. There’s absolutely no way Jim Chaney and another year in the strength program isn’t worth at least two wins given how light the schedule is.

Yeah. OL still worries me. It would be so Tennessee for the team to be hugely improved overall, but the QB still gets .02 seconds in the pocket because our OL is trash.

Yeah OL is still going to be weak. But on paper we have an easier schedule and a better more experienced roster everywhere but the DL. Don't see any reason we can't do it

OK truth is I hope Richmond stays to compete next year.
I don’t agree. He can be a good player and technically you would say he was one of our best offensive linemen last year. But he doesn’t bring it every week/snap/rep. That kind of inconsistency hurts the culture we’re trying to build.

Little off topic, but I just realized how nice it will be for Tennessee to land the highest rated uncommitted prospect in the country, by every recruiting service, during the second signing day. That is going to be great publicity for us and will continue this roll we have been on. At first I was a little disappointed that DW didn't commit in Decemeber, now I think it may be a good thing in the long run.

Butch’s fanboys didn’t want to believe it bc in their eyes butch did no wrong.
These details popped up in a recent book. Before that, they weren’t public knowledge. Backing a coach before they stop deserving it isn’t being a fanboy just because the extreme opposite paints it that way.
