Love the hire of Tee, very good WR coach and elite recruiter. Also can't understate the value of bringing back a VFL like him in a spot where his legacy won't get tarnished like it would as an OC. I say that not so much as a comment on his OC abilities, but just because every fan base seems to blame their OC for everything that goes wrong on offense.

Would really hate to lose David Johnson though, I think he is also a very good WR coach and we don't really have someone that can cover Memphis down to New Orleans and everywhere in between like he does in recruiting. Moving Weinke to an analyst position if he would accept it would seem to make the most sense. Supposedly he is a sharp offensive mind, but don't really know how much he adds in recruiting, especially compared to Tee and DJ.

I am shocked at how much Pruitt appears to be willing to beg kids to stay. We have seen Kirkland and Allen come back and now this.

I'd have guess he was such a no nonsense guy he'd tell them to let the door hit them in the ass if they weren't all in

Thing is, he at least knows what he has in guys already here. A lot can hate on Drew...he's not lived up to his hype, I get that but he has been durable. Hasn't missed much time, obviously is a good dude, doesn't get into trouble, and is involved with the community. I want him here even if he doesn't play because a guy like that is not a bad guy to have in your locker room. He's a leader, and if he ever buys into what Fitz & staff say about him...if he ever flips the switch, he's got everything physically needed to be a beast.

Personally I prefer DJ to CW. DJ is known to develop talent and that has my backing.

I'm going to say Clemson and I don't think it's better but comparable is Miami's staff I personally like who Diaz is hiring.

Definitely could make the argument with Clemson. There's a reason no one has been able to hire Venables away. Still gonna ride with the guys in the proper shade of orange, though.

I hope Tee takes advantage of having Chaney as his OC. I believe he can & will learn far more from him than he did from Helton. From all accounts Chaney is a great teacher.

I was listening to the VQ podcast yesterday and they mentioned how they thought Henry T would be considering USC much more heavily if they hadn't fired everybody. I wonder if Tee was a big part of his recruitment there and could be a factor for us. Just a thought.

I'd be surprised if an offense coach was involved much in recruiting players for the defense.
