I may get destroyed for this but Pruitt gets it. Great recruiting covers up for average coaching. Say what you want about him but he is full throttle and he will have Tennessee in a much better place sooner than later. After the debacle of their coaching search and missing on all of those coaches I think they actually lucked out and got the right guy. Tee Martin is a great hire for them. I’m not worried about them yet but they will have a very good roster in a couple year because Pruitt will make sure of it

More on Tee...

He's in Knoxville. Got here overnight.

Unclear of what his role or title will be. Right now Pruitt has 11 coaches. Can only have 10 on the field.

Now, Charles Kelly is being courted by Maryland. I'm not sure anything happens in terms of defining roles, unless that situation is cleared up.

If Kelly leaves, Pruitt could keep everyone else and reshuffle some responsibility and organization. If Kelly stays, someone else could leave or an assistant could move to an off the field role.

I think all of that will be clear by end of the week.

This morning on Swains show about half way through the first hour a caller was talking about how he didn't think he could get anymore excited than he is now after the Tee news. Swain quickly reminded him yes he could to sit tight that more good news could be coming soon. Not sure if he is pulling a Hank and just swinging or if he actually knows something. He seemed to know about Tee for over a week the way he has been talking.
