I could definitely be wrong. But, I don’t see us getting rid of a recruiter like YAC, plus the players love him.

Weinke didn’t really do anything for our RBs last year and I wouldn’t say his recruiting is elite in any way....

YAC hasn’t built much recruiting cred yet. Love the teaching and coaching tho.

I agree with that. I just assume you keep the guy who motivates your players over the guy no one even got to see coach during practice lol (like they were ashamed of him or something)

Being honest, I was never a fan of the Weinke hire. Seemed like an odd fit IMO. I really hope he's the one leaving.

I think you're spot on. I think it was during the Kentucky game after the near fight in the end zone, he got pissed off and was finally knocking people on their butts. Needs that attitude every play.

Last years opening staff was already great (top 5 SEC easily) and that was with Nieds being a rookie coach and basically unknown of how good he’d be. We just improved it

Also just throwing this out there, Nieds worked with the defense at Bama and Uga under Pruitt, and YAC has coached TE’s before. So it doesn’t necessarily have to be an Offensive guy that moves on to make room for Tee. Pretty sure it was reported teams have shown interest in Charles Kelly
