Seems like this issue might be that Richmond doesn't feel like he should have to compete since he has started for three years. I think he's looking at the first year he actually has to compete to be in the starting 5 and might not want to risk spending his senior year on the bench.

This more than anything has been what has excited me about Pruitt. I can say from experience the times i have most effectively lead and gotten the most out of my teams is when i really care about them. People want to be valued and given direction especially kids with the opportunity to make millions.

I don’t blame him for leaving Tennessee. I’ve never seen someone get consistently ridiculed and ripped apart like he does. He’s not nearly close to as bad as you’d think reading about him. And even if he was he’s a college athlete just trying to make it and this fan base is ruthless on him. I hope he goes somewhere that he’ll be appreciated unfortunately most of the fans on here are too immature for that

Kinda of lines up with the grace he extended toward Sapp. At least for a little while, he believed he could make him a good player. Sapp didn’t buy in.

I don’t get making a current Vol a punchline.

Drew may not be the best we’ve had or even close to it (and his underperformance is fair game to question), but he initially chose to be a Vol, so I will respect that. As long as he has some gas in the tank, I’m going to root for his success, wherever he plays next fall. In fact, I will keep hope that it’s the best possible ending for him and us.
