Does anyone know what the Lady Vols were averaging attendace-wise in Holly's first season and what was it last year?

Also, does anyone know what Holly's home win-loss record is for out of conference and conference matchups?

We've had single games of more than 17000 i know when we used to play UConn. Were lucky to get over ten even for a top class opponent these days. We drew 8051 for Stanford this year. Missouri 9113, Kentucky 8145.

blame the SEC network

Nothing like watching a game in person, especially with decently cheap tickets, however the product has to match the energy to drive there, park and walk into the place and the product the past few years has been about as exciting as watching paint dry! You can also look at the numbers for TV and see there are a lot less tuning in compared to before and thats what happens when a horrible product is displayed! I tried to watch some of the Mizzou game the other night and it seemed like 2 bad high school teams going at it, after that watching them play a Kentucky squad that lost a ton of players and again it was bad enough to burn the eyes! I didn't even try to watch them against UGA I ended up painting a bedroom instead, so literally watching paint dry was more exciting!

The Lady Vols averaged about 15,000 per game at home during the Meek years and most of the early 2000's. For home games in the 1997-1998 undefeated championship year there were 24,597 at the UConn game, 24,373 for ODU, 22,594 for LSU, and 19,208 for Vandy. A bunch of 20,000 plus home games the next season too.

  • 1995-96: 8,042
  • 1996-97: 10,500
  • 1997-98: 14,969
  • 1998-99: 16,565
  • 1999-00: 15,341
  • 2000-01: 15,510
FWIW, average home attendance in the SEC has mostly bucked UT's downward trend during the Warlick years:
  • 2012-13: 3,520
  • 2013-14: 3,847
  • 2014-15: 4,214
  • 2015-16: 4,758
  • 2016-17: 4,221
  • 2017-18: 4,523

Cha-ching factor will be Holly’s demise.....

Go Vols!!!!

Not sure it has that giant of an impact when they only charge $10-$20 for tickets ...
( why so cheap?? You can’t gef a men’s ticket or a football ticket for that )...
