Best post I have ever seen from you.Hey man you and I have clashed I know and I pray you don't take this wrong.
With that said, we are Volunteers and if any anyone here sees it fit to help out a fellow Vol please let us do it. We rally around those in need especially when it's due to circumstances beyond their control. Accepting such volunteered offerings in NO way would reflect the Man you are!
This.
Plus Fulmer knows what the LV’s mean to the AD and University in general.
They’re still the flagship program for women’s athletics. And they’re still capable of plowing revenues and profits into the AD.
It won’t take $2 mil to get Walz.I hope so. I'll believe we spend $2mil on a women's basketball coach when they trot them out to the podium. No Fulmer may think the best thing to make the Lady Vols great again is to hire an up and comer. We'll see. I know he doesn't want to fire Holly but he's going to have to if he wants to compete for championships again. She's never gonna get it done. Doubt we get to sweet 16 again with her at the helm. JMO

You corrected yourself before I pounced. We’re one of the few programs that can and will go big with women’s basketball. It makes money.Women’s basketball has never and will never even come close to break even, let alone plow profits. We would all like success, but let’s be realistic about the economics.
Well my error. I actually fact checked myself and found out the Lady Vols did make a profit in the late 90s.
