Serious question.

What has Coach Johnson shown that he IS that good? Tee has shown it be has Coach Johnson put a bunch of WRs into the NFL? I really don’t know.

Also based off of last year I can’t say I was blown away by our WRs. If anything they were inconsistent. Showed up in some games like Auburn and others gave minimal effort.

I do think getting a VFL in there would definitely be an added benefit. We know Tee can recruit and can coach WRs.

Has Tee been a good recruiter because he is a good recruiter, or because he was at USCw, which consistently pulls in loads of 5* players and recruiting classes second only to Bama over the past 10 years regardless of what coaches are there?

That’s not the only change. You can’t overload a side anymore which lowers the chances even more.

Palmer couldn’t catch a cold leading up to last year and a couple of months with Johnson fixed that. So I will politely disagree with you. Johnson is a great WR coach.

Win the line of scrimmage, wins games. Look at the Rams last night. OWNED the line of scrimmage.

McVay is great and everything but the Rams kicked the Cowboys ass last night on the lines.

Offense OC + 4 Asst. Coaches
QB - Chaney?
RB- Weinke
WR - Johnson
TE - Niedermeyer
OL - Friend

Defense DC + 4 Asst. Coaches + Pruitt
DL - Rocker
OLB - Rumph
ILB - Sherrer
CB - Fair
S - Kelly

Right now I feel like we are Defense Heavy on Asst. Coaches, considering Pruitt is our true DC. I wouldn't be surprised to see one of the Defensive Assistants leave, Kelly or Fair wouldn't surprise me at all. That would make room for Tee. Pruitt could coach CB or S and bring on Tee to coach RB/QB/WR. If Johnson or Weinke leave then you promote Lilly to whatever spot Tee doesn't fill.

I think the reason Chaney hasn't been given a position, is because Pruitt wants him to oversee the entire offense, so that Pruitt can focus on the Defense. I think Lilley will be promoted one way or another after NSD. Tee looks like a decent possibility.

Saban will try to poach from our staff. It will get interesting. Hopefully we pay Niedermeyer, I don't want him back at Bama.

Great company Jerry's Cowboys are keeping.

Going to knee jerk and extend mediocre ass Jason Garrett, and as a result, Jerry will go to his grave with 1995 being his last Super Bowl appearance.

As a former Cowboys fan, turned Cowboys hater (because of Garrett and Jerry) I love it. I don't even have an NFL team anymore - I just root for my VFL in the league, as well as whomever is playing against them Cowboys.

I too was a Cowboys fan growing up.( Dandy Don was the starting qb!) and I've hated them since Jerry took over and can't understand his love for Garret. I bet Jerry told him after the loss "If at first you don't succeed, just keep on sucking and you will suck seed!"

Was a great recruiter before he got there but at end of the day once on your resume they are there forever. It's smooth sailing as a recruiter once you built what he has. Easily point to clear facts of who is in NFL or had great college success. He has several fresh on these kids minds

Lowest PoS fanbase in all of CFB imo. I hate them, Vandy fans are annoying, and so are UGA and Bammers, but as a whole they are not just bad people..The Florida fanbase has a disproportionate number of the lowest slimy filth of society.
