Why they believe coaches experienced at failing at other NFL jobs are more valuable than others..
it's beyond me.

It’s a weird thing tho Bc look at a chunk of the last Super bowl winners and some of the more successful coaches now..they were/are retreads...

Pete carrol, bellicheck, carrol, kubiak, Andy Reid, etc. but I’m with you. I would lean towards an unknown rather than a known failure

There's a whole thread of memes about just having to know mcvay to get a job. Hahaha

The same thing is happening with the Andy Reid’s assistants. Eagles fans definitely aren’t complaining and i don’t think the bears should be after Nagys first year.

Apparently there is clarification on this whole ordeal here is their take.
He forgot to add that Coley's offenses got worse every year at Miami and Richt didnt want to keep him despite his recruiting prowess in the city. A&M wasnt going to let him call plays there either. He will be a significant downgrade from Chaney.

Andy is a long time vet with a track record of assistants being good. A system that has proved it is long for the NFL. Both coaches you mention have good experience in league. Worked their ways up. You got guys just sky rocketing to the top from mcvay tree and he has only been a HC for 2-3yrs? Look at Lafluer at titans.. that was hot garbage offense. That should be a red flag. These guys haven't been with mcvay long enough to know his system inside out. Those Reid guys know hisnsystem through and through before getting those jobs.

Doesn't matter. He recruits at elite level. He is responsible for a large amount of those classes. He is who is landing kids from out of state. Think Pittman but versatility to recruit at that level for any position. He pulls DBs, WRs OL etc. Smart is backed into a corner. He can't advise Coley to not take AM and Miami OC then not promote him. If he doesn't promote Diaz will snatch him in a second

Oh, I know. It will hurt them eventually though just like it did with Bama and Lupoi. Elliott owned Lupoi and all his 5*s. I would take Pruitt being able to put together a defense to stop him once he gets his players. Coaching does matter in the end.

UPDATE

I appreciate the effort so much but unfortunately, don't believe your cousin will be able to assist.
Returning from the surgeon and apparently the damage covers the entire pancreas. Removal of a portion (I believe is what your cousin had done) is a no-go for me. Another Dr. specialized in a specific procedure followed by a nerve block, seems to be my only possible resort.

But that came with a suggestion of no working until then, so I could eat and deal with the pain that follows (dropped another 6 pounds to 126 this week).
Because of medical bills, not working is absolutely out of the question As is the cost of a trip to a "specialist's specialist" at/near USCjr for treatment, that he wanted to go through.

Dr. Midis is just concerned with my lack of nutrition and the extraordinary weight loss. But I can't pay what I no longer have.
I'll just do what I can and lean on you guys for support during the darker hours.
Again, thank you all so much for allowing me to vent and all of the kind words and prayers!!!
Love ya guys.

Dang, Sorry to hear this Charger. Continued prayers heading your way.
