Jauan Jennings leaves Tennessee (Debunked rumor)

Dan should probably get a second source before putting this out there. The online directory at UT is notoriously misleading in some situations and has bitten reporters trying to be first.

Wouldn't be stunned if it was true, but I'm not going to react until someone gets a second source on it.
Spot on

He can still enroll until the 14th if that's what he decides to do.

I'd love to see him back and have a great year and then get drafted.

I think going pro now will be a mistake.

Wish him the best whatever he decides is right for him.

VFL...GBO!!!

I think he is as ready as he will ever be plus he seems to be injury prone. He he joins the draft, it likely is a good decision for him. I wish him good luck.
Respectfully disagree. He wasn’t fully healthy last year until game 4 or 5. He can use this offseason to get stronger, healthier and just generally better. He can get sharper with his route running and, perhaps most important given his speed deficiency, he can put much more good play on tape.

He’s played 35 games, has 87 catches for just under 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns. If you do the math, that’s just not much to go on. If he can put together something just like a 50-60 catch season for 700-800 yards and 6-7 touchdowns with maybe a few more big plays like he had in 2016, it would go a long way to him maybe even sneaking into the later rounds of the draft or maybe better. Imho, if he leaves now, he has a much tougher row to hoe in terms of realizing his dream of playing in the NFL, than if he came back and put up an excellent senior season

Not sure I understand why this paragraph closed the story:

"It is unclear if Jennings will elect to come back for a redshirt senior season in 2019, as he can still enroll in classes for the current semester. Spring 2019 semester classes begin today at UT."
Because the only thing the writer is going on is an assumption based on the student directory

I wish nothing but the best for JJ but I want him back.

That man has the fire and a few more on this team need to catch it.

Used very little in 2018

100% agree. I'm not sure if it was injury related, but he was not utilized well at all this year. It's got to be a hard decision for him after the way Butch and staff treated him. I assume CJP will tell him that he could have a big role next year, but how hard is it to trust another coach. I hope like heck he comes back.
