Clemson doesn't win the game without all the freaks on offense, but they also don't win if they don't have the dominant OL and stingy D. For all the equality on both sides of the ball, stellar QB play is the trump card...and coaching. It's all a cumulative effect. I think Clemson coaches out coached Bama, and may be starting to see that Saban losing coaches every year does affect their ability to win games where they aren't "out talenting" the other team.

Ok, I didnt say anything about their record, I said they look like trash in 9 of 11 games. Had they looked good in most games only losing by a score or two in most then my opinion of his first year would be different. They didnt.

Stars do matter in many instances. I honestly can't think of any 3 * QB that started as a true freshman. Trevor Lawrence is Peyton 2.0

If we had Trevor this past season, I really feel we could have been 7-5 minimum.

So our talent level has nothing to do with how bad we looked? All of that is on coaching? Ridiculous
