Am I the only one that just can't bring themselves to get interested in a re-run of Bama vs. Clemson? I'm honestly thinking of playing a video game instead of watching this and it's not because we suck. Sports is boring when it's the same two teams every year. We need a Baker Mayfield type to come out of nowhere and from a team that hasn't made the playoffs to liven this ish up. These games (especially now that other bowl games have been de-emphasized) only help those already in them maintain a death lock on recruits and the playoffs themselves.

He gone IMO. Only way they keep him is if he stays healthy and lights it up. And neither of those things are gonna happen. Can't afford to get saddled with that contract on a QB of his caliber. And I say that as a MM fan. He's just not good enough.
Trade for Cam Newton...

Inside joke

Yeah it sucks but I’m still going to watch some of it.

It’s the cheapest national championship ticket in a long time. You’re not the only one.

Maybe there is a women’s basketball game on tonight.

The Mariota nuthuggers will have another excuse ready for him when he throws for 2,500 yards, 13 TDs, 9 INTs next year and misses 2-3 games due to injury
Lol he’s so bad. I love when they cherry pick stats to gas him up.

“Mariota is leading the nfl in TD passes for QBs under 30 in the month of November during games below 54 degrees”

I like Marcus myself but, dang, what will that be for him now as far as OC's, 4 in 5 yrs? I think LaFleur getting that GB job is shocking. I figured 2 or 3 successful yrs as an OC 1st. Can't totally blame Mariota if he's never a top-tier qb having to learn a totally new system and lingo yr after yr

He is what he is at this point. Even if LaFleur stuck around the narrative would be bad OL, bad WRs, still a young QB, scheme isn't to his strengths, etc. People find ways to make excuses for him when in reality he's just a below average QB who occasionally steps up big in important games.

Lord knows I ain't watching or following women's hoops but my Lord I took a peak and saw where Holy is 12-2 this year and reading the post here you would think she's 7-7.

Unreal awful job to have when you lose 2 games out of 14 and your fan base uses each loss to talk about how bad you are
To be fair this is not about one season ans she is standing in a pretty big shadow, but she has a lot of talent too.

He's an average QB in a league were excellent QB's win championships. And good QB's become backups.

The people on the Titans subreddit are insane. They defend him to the death and come up with all kinds of mental gymnastics to prop him up. I've even seen some completely serious posts suggesting he's this hidden gem QB who's actually top 5 in the league but can't get there due to all of these unlucky setbacks. I have to assume that they're all 15-20 years old and started watching the NFL in 2014 or something.

Would you rather have Mariota or winston?

People are complaining about Holly for the exact same reasons we complained about Butch's 9 win season in 2016. Potential is everywhere and it's being held back by poor coaching. Losing to Mizzou at home (when you're ranked in the top 10 and they'd never won here) is every bit as bad as dropping SC and Vandy and missing out on the Sugar Bowl.

And it’s obvious you haven’t watched any games...if you did you would see the product she puts on the court is horrible. And you would see she can’t coach herself out of a wet paper bag. It’s the same abysmal product that it has been for the past 6 years. Nothing changes...land elite talent and can’t coach them one iota.
