It has never been Berenstein. My sister could never keep it straight when we were kids and I used to make fun of her about it, in the same way that I more recently had Mrs Verc confused about whether it was Kirk Herbstreit or Herb Kirkstreet.

"Stein" is just a far more common suffix in names. So everyone assumed it was "stein" and pronounced it as "stein" because their brains just assumed that's what it was.

It's the same thing with the Monopoly guy. Mr Peanut wore a monocle and the Penguin wore a monocle and Scrooge McDuck wore little glasses that looked like a monocle (I thought it was a monocle until I just looked); the monocle-with-top-hat is usually just part of a trope that we automatically sort the Monopoly guy into even though he didn't actually have one.

Gotcha. So over the last few weeks they’ve tried to usher in a “new era” and push newer guys with a lot of in ring talent so you might see some guys you’re not familiar with.

Braun Strowman/Seth Rollins are the top baby faces and crowd favorites. Strowman has a rematch with Lesnar at Royal Rumble but he had legit elbow surgery last month so he might not get physical.

Dean Ambrose is the IC champion and still sort of feuding with Rollins. He’s a heel. He has a really annoying entrance where you hear sirens so prepare yourself. Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley are heels and super imposing. McIntyre is really fun

Pro wrestling is like monster truck shows and the Globetrotters... you don't tell a lot of people you're going beforehand, but you never fail to enjoy it.
