Just had an article about where he thought things were in the search. Nothing too in depth or detailed, really. I just think this OC hunt would be nicely capped off by Hyams of all people hitting the nail on the head. Would be a fitting end to things lol

I don’t care for Hyams as a person or a reporter, but it would be hilarious if he was the lone media member who got things right after the terrible year of reporting he’s had lol

I think hyams has one the better Football IQs of our media. He needs to stick with opinions vs being a reporter.

If you go by Hyams, you have heard at least three different versions since Helton leaving was announced.

I don't know one way or the other, or even if he wants to be our OC.

I wish UT had kept the Lady Vols name retired. The LVs were Pat's program. Tennessee WBB doesn't even resemble Pat's program and no longer bears her standards.

How much longer are they going to let Holly do this to the LV’s?

I agree. Good post.

She hired a great recruiter a couple of years back. That has saved her job thus far.

I was very close to Pat and Holly and I went thru school together starting at Rocky Hill. She and I grew up at Rocky Hill ballpark and I was coached by her dad. Great family .....super good people. I really feel for Holly. She loved Pat, she loves this university and she has been placed in a tough situation.

I only hope for the best for her....

He’s definitely seen plenty of football. But sports media passed him by probably a decade ago and he’s never been the brightest personality on the beat.

Just think our current personnel would be a disaster in what he likes to do and i don’t like him on the trail. Just think we can do better.

I see Chaney at best as a B coordinator and a D recruiter.

C hire which is how i would grade it.

Who would be your choice? Someone that we could actually hire.

Chaney is a SEC proven successful OC. He’s the safest bet. If we could get him with Tee, that’s an upgrade in recruiting

The thing that worries me most about UT sports is the man in charge of UT sports extended Holly Warlick’s contract this off season.

I actually like coley. I would be more willing to give him a shot then go to the recycle bin with Chaney.

I also like sark although i think he will stay in the NFL.

Yes, but he values loyalty and it would be hard for him to fire a close friend and alum whose jersey hangs in the rafters. I think he's going to show an incredible amount of patience and look for other solutions. If he decides something has to be done, I think they'll work something out-- an emeritus or admin position.
