Thanks for sharing. Seems Jimmy is hinting at Chaney...
Yes - some interesting wording in there.

He says we talked to Tee but doesn’t say where those talks ended - which leads me to believe they haven’t.

Almost makes it sound like we turned Chaney down in December but may be swinging back around. And that Chaney wants the job.

That's exactly what Jimmy is saying. A Chaney/Tee combo would be awesome.

Remember the only name Jimmy said during process on twitter was Yurchich. With a random tweet about him that didn't say anything but stats. Along with Doug apparently saying the 95% guy went elsewhere. It all points to Yurchich being who we were hoping for and then it heated up again once he was off table.

I'd be plenty happy with Chaney and Tee combo. Chaney is used to building a successful system around a QB with limited vision in Crompton and Bray here allowing them to still be successful. Tee was a lot like Guarantano himself as a player. Could be a big help to him

There's about 5 or 6 posters on here, who seem to wake up each and every morning, saying, "I'm going to post more garbage, and outright sh*t, than anyone else in the RF today".

Congratulations...you're one of the 5 or 6. No need to take a bow; that is...unless you enjoy relishing in your own nonsense.
This coming from the guy who told me my opinions were garbage when I said our pass rush would struggle this year and WVU had an edge over us due to staff and roster continuity.

Thinking and saying we’re 3+ years from an SEC Championship isn’t a ridiculous opinion at all. Most outside of VN would just call that a realistic opinion.

Just curious but what is this freeze stuff that is popping up. It seems like if it was that bad it wouldve come up when he was hired at ole miss
It was a different time. Not that long ago...but it was. Jameis Winston finish a season these days? Much less win the Heisman and lead his team in the championship?

Your stance on Chaney is such a bad take, man. He's one of the best OC's in the league and you call him average at best and we won't make a bowl because of him? My goodness man, take a thousand laps.

What makes him on of the best in the league? Tell me about what you love about his scheme...Our offense was bad 3/4 years he was here... and during those 3 he had comparable or maybe even better talent than he would this coming up year with us... he had a very good offense his last year with us with about 6 NFL players including QB and maybe the most dynamic player we’ve ever had in CP....to pair with the worst defense in our history probably to keep getting possessions. I constantly remember his play calling costing us late in games that year and people being irate about it.

Also...Why is Georgia slow playing his contract and stripping his duties?

I agree though evidence before us says somethng different......If I was truly a mid-lower tier historically in the confernece I would agree. But, were we not saying the same thing about Kentucky basketball / Cal 4-5 years ago. They win every year, they recruit one and dones so no one can beat them and they have rupp arena (fans).

The Barnes blueprint is there....recruit kids to your system, have them stick around, develope them, have some exceptional talent and then your competing not only on the field but in recruiting as well. Look at coach Barnes this year.....we have 4-5 stars visiting and seriously considering us.

I refuse to believe the same thing cannot (and will not) happen in football. We have recruiters, we have coaches that drive the kids to success (proven by Jordan Allen’s mothers tweet which is the best sign I have seen around here in a LONG time), we have an AD who has been there and done that, and we have a fan base that is ready to EXPLODE (evidence Thomspon Boling).

The ride is going to somewhat long but better days are ahead. Days that we are expected to beat GA / FL and Alabama 50% of the time! That’s the way it used to be and the way it will be. Either jump on the bus and enjoy the ride or be a Negasomething.

GBO !!!
Easier to do this in basketball. I agree with the formula but the fan based has to have patience. This method takes 7-8 years to be championship level. Does the fan base have the patience to wait 7-8 years?
