Klol ok. Sorry for trying to have a dialogue and make clear whatever point it was you were getting at. I’ll preface my post with trigger warnings for dialogue next time I quote one of your posts. Maybe something like:
An arena that is comparable or better than half the arenas in the NBA, with a player introduction that half the parents and every kid will get goosebumps watching, to go along with a top 5 team that is made up of kids/men that exemplify what it is to be student athletes. Must see TV and the greatest show going on in Knoxville. This show is going on, about once a week in K-town, for another 2 and a half months. Enjoy it, could be an once in a lifetime team. So, don't miss it, I'm not going to miss it. Although, I only saw the '98 football team beat UAB, I saw them play live. I feel like I have to see this Vols basketball team live or I will always regret it.
I think this is a good point. As much as I respect the approach Barnes has taken and hope Pruitt can imitate it to a certain degree, running a CFB program is just innately different from running a CBB program in a lot of key facets.Barnes example is iffy at best. You need a core of 3-4 of those 3 to 4 year developmental guys for basketball. You need 10x that many for football. It's hard to develop 40 people in anything regardless of resources.
