I know I'm chiming in a bit out of turn since I've never interacted with you. But I've been reading your posts for years. Honestly, people give you a hard time because your pessimistic contrarian shtick is a bit over the top sometimes. You do have good insights on occasion but you seem to forget the fact that even if you do live in Scotland, the sun does shine a few days out of the year.

In all fairness, every pessimist I've ever met (mistakenly) thinks that they're a realist. So you definitely aren't the only one of your breed. Try some Zoloft. I know I take mine.

And for the record, I think Mullen is a good coach.

Attended the execution of Georgia basketball today. Decided to stay for the postgame show. My friend's son was able to acquire a free Tennessee hat signed by Coach Barnes. He was stoked. It was the 1st time he and his dad had attended a basketball game at TBA. They will always remember it. Had a great meal at Calhoun's beforehand. Just an overall good day and trip.

I'm not sure it's a bad move from Swan. The NFL works on a different timeline, it could be late Jan before a HC decision is made depending on candidates on playoff teams. Hiring an OC that late from scratch isn't a great position so might as well force Kliffs hand. It's a bad look if he's a longtime assistant but for someone you just hired it's deserved

It would make it harder to hire good coaches there in the future imo

Stupid on Swann's part. I get not wanting to lose him right after hiring him, but who's gonna want to work for you if you work against them and advancement? Just not smart IMO.
