I've not made a statement regarding whether Pruitt is or is not going about his OC search in an effective manner. You on the other hand have postulated with certainty, that because Pruitt has been relatively successful as a defensive play caller at other schools, that he must assuredly be successful at evaluating and hiring an offensive coordinator as a head coach at UT.
I've reviewed every post I've made in this thread. Please show me where I EVER have made the conclusion you state above in the bold and underlined text.
You first question to me was to ask how I perceived that CJP has
mad hiring skills.... I've tried very hard to be civil in continually replying to each of your follow-up statements and questions.
I've repeatedly asserted with unapologetic confidence that CJP has been VETTED by at least 3 NC coaches prior to being named the HC of our beloved VOLS. You really should take a few minutes to look up the word VETTED to see exactly what it means and what synonyms for the word exist to increase your comprehensive skills.
Ultimately--he has been affirmed and approved by his COACHING PEERS as
QUALIFIED to be a HC in the SEC.
One of a lengthy list of qualifications for being a HC at any NCAA program is the ability to hire all coaching staff personnel.
Sir, there is a DIFFERENCE in being QUALIFIED and being SUCCESSFUL. I've never stated anywhere that CJP's qualifications AUTOMATICALLY guarantee that his next hire will be SUCCESSFUL.
IN FACT--I've stated that we won't have any true evidence to evaluate how successful his hire is until we've played some SEC games next season.
I've also QUESTIONED the intelligence of all those people on this board for griping about the time CJP is putting in to making his decision. It appears--if rumors are true--that CJP has NOT been granted AUTONOMY (you better go look that word up, too) in making this hire.
I'm done with this conversation. Good day, sir.
