The Kenya remark (if I understand Nurse Vol's comment) was that the country wasn't yet called Kenya in 1961, and Kenya is listed as the country of his father's birth on the certificate. I don't know when Kenya became Kenya, but I believe that was her point.

Edit: Kenya achieved independence in 1963. Before that, it was known as Kenya Colony, under British rule in British East Africa.

So the only word missing is colony
