If Friend is truly 1 of the best O-line coaches in the country does Saban contact him about his new vacancy? Being he is a bammer after all

Is it just me, or does UT seem to have more of these people, who try and pass off as insiders, than anywhere else? Twitter is littered with these types of accts, it seems. I'm sure a few of them are right here on VN, as well; I can think of a couple with a snap of the fingers.

But, Houston Kress, and this Daniel guy, and many others I have seen...they don't have any more inside info than I do; yet, they set up these accts, and try and pass themselves off as insiders, or affiliated with the school or program in some way, using language like they are journalists or reporters. It's just a very bad look for the Vols, some of these guys, and their BS. If it was just confined to VN, it wouldn't bother me as much; but, other social media, that the whole world is looking at...I just hate the thought of people, maybe even recruits, thinking these idiots have ANYTHING to do with UT.

Am I thinking too much into this? @Big Gucci Sosa and some of you other Twitter guys and gals...what say you?

The head coach of the Vols has interviewed former LSU and Maryland offensive coordinator Matt Canada, sources told GoVols247 on Thursday afternoon.

Canada, who spent the 2018 season as the interim coach for the Terrapins, made a good impression on Pruitt, and while sources close to the situation indicated Pruitt likes Canada, no offer has been extended....Pruitt still wants to speak with more coaches about the vacancy and plans to interview other candidates for the job...Currently no interview has been scheduled between Tennessee and Sarkisian.

So some are relaying Canada was just here for another "pick your brain" session, but Brown says interview? Never a serious candidate? Also wasn't Hubbs and Price quoted yesterday as leaning toward Sark...so far he's not even in the mix...or so appears.
