But they are players we need. The 5 star offensive lineman, and 5 star wide receiver. Both favoring ut now. And I hope we get them. And this is just my opinion.i just feel our competitors will use this to try and flip them.

Well, here is the deal...

Sark will have other options and reportedly would prefer the NFL. Also...

From VQ (Price): "I don’t see Osovet in play whatsoever. He doesn’t wanna promote from within but that doesn’t mean Friend isn’t climbing the list as this goes on."

I think it’s been him from day 1. They probably know that no one will come here without bringing their own guys in, and Pruitt/Fulmer aren’t going to do that at this time.

I totally didn't take it that way. And I agree in that I don't understand why it is so hush hush unless the new OC has requested it. I think Streeter would be a great hire esp since he is good with QBs. But haven't heard anything about us talking to him or anything. But the lack of leaks and how everyone finds their assistants so quickly and here we are with our thumbs up our poopers missing out on all the fun. Very frustrating.

If CJP already had someone he wouldn't be talking to Sark and Canada in the last couple of days. He would not be taking time away from recruiting just to fool us. It could be that he has someone that he is willing to hire and will take the job but that he is not completely satisfied with and hopes for better, but he definitely doesn't have a candidate that he really wants locked in.

I hope that we land Sark. But something tells me that it will be internal and that was the plan all along. This will have turned out to be a sham coaching search and he will say that he talked to other candidates and they didn't fit into his plan. It's a play out of the late Bud Adams' playbook.

I thought Pruitt had a handshake with Yurcich. I was guessing that led to reports of his having his man. Either there was no shake or confusion. Perhaps Yurcich just got a better offer and split. Either way move on.
I’ll really be disappointed if we take an internal candidate. We need a guy that can run the o independently. And do it at an sec level.
