According to the article. The browns have denied several teams the opportunity to interview him for a lateral position.I’m going off what Paul K reported on 104.5 the zone. His report may have been from this article but he presented it on the radio as this block will limit Kitchens to the option of the new Cleveland HC. The speculated a new HC other than the current interim HC would likely leave Kitchens high and dry with no NFL options.
Not really. I don’t think he cares at all.
But “not caring” doesn’t mean he’s immune to criticism for bad decisions or running a fustercluck of a search.
He might not care that we think it but the truth is the truth.
(I’m not saying we’re going to make a bad hire. Still confident.)
Yes, I took the time to read the article and the advice and words from a guy who pissed away his pro career because he couldnt stop with the drugs and wouldnt put down the bottle. Not the mention the ******* assaulted a police officer about 10 years ago on a DUI stop. Forgive me if I dont take anything he has to say on character or what a student athlete should do with any measure of worth.Did you read the article?
That’s the point. Paul indicated the reason the Browns denied it was to give the new (not yet determined) head coach the “option” to retain Kitchens.According to the article. The browns have denied several teams the opportunity to interview him for a lateral position.
On the other hand, he has several teams lining up to interview him for their OC position. He is an NFL coach. That’s the point. Paul indicated the reason the Browns denied it was to give the new (not yet determined) head coach the “option” to retain Kitchens.
He also said this basically tells Kitchens Clevelyhas no interest in him as HC even though he is set to interview for the HC in the next few days.
