Georgia is just making excuses for the fact they were overrated. They got smacked. That’s all there is to it. They only beat 1 good team all year

What do they have to make excuses for? I mean, it’s not like they got dragged by a 4-loss Big XII team 48 hours removed from trashing the Big XII champ and another undefeated team for losing their bowl games.

I actually like that he hasn't seem to think he must make the media or fans happy with who is going to hire and when. Also like that he is going after who he thinks might work and moving on to the next if it doesn't instead of worrying about the "optics" of how it is perceived by the public. I think he will get the best available OC just like he goes after the best players then...."Don't worry about who you don't get. Worry about who you do."

Like some of us have been saying. He's not going to leave the NFL for a college gig.
I think he is really only staying in the NFL if it's at Cleveland as their HC or OC.

Now, I think he is most likely going to be there. So I am expecting us to move on from him IF he was the #1 guy from the beginning.

Too many scenarios can’t follow

That’s fair but there’s a difference in a proven head coach doing that vs Pruitt.

Well I’m sorry to tell you but you don’t become proven in 2 years. So even if he waited another year and did that he wouldn’t be considered proven. So.... I say he does whatever he wants and as long as it pans out then he kept his job going and did what a HC is supposed to do.

Because if Pruitt thought he was the best candidate and could be a very good OC why even search around for over a month
Because he's already on staff and helping with recruiting... it's not like Coach O is elsewhere and has to be scooped up, he's in Orange & White helping us secure a potential top 10 class.

I don’t disagree with this logic I also don’t think it will be osovet. My point is I t won’t matter as long as whoever he gets produces.

That cannot be quantified by recruits, recruits who go elsewhere aren’t questioned in depth as to why they spurned other schools and recruits who eliminated UT no longer talk about UT.
we have like 5 spots left. maybe less, can't remember. 1 is giong to Wright. that's 4 or less, left. we're not losing anyone because of htis. no one decommitted. and a guy like haselwood yeah, we're trying, but everyone believes he's going to OU, and has been for a little bit now. even atlvol said he was a no go several weeks ago.

can't be quantified by recruits....lol.

They do not and if that truly is the case what does that say about Helton? That cannot be quantified. It’s like saying God did it. I believe in God but that can never be proven
Helton wasn’t here when we landed Harrison Bailey, Q. Crouch, and other top recruits. Sitting where TN is in recruiting with the records TN has had over the last few years is outstanding.

So yes, the results have indicated no OC has had little to no effect on recruiting.
