You’re correct. He’s been inactive and thrown one career pass (incomplete)...huge difference. Hogan started for the Browns...my bad.
You are correct he has been on the inactive list on game days most of his career bc most teams only dress 2 qbs these days.He was on ir all of 2014 and 2015.Injurys never happened to Alex Smith to give him a shot to start a game.It doesnt mean he sucks. It doesnt matter if he was better than Smith.Kc paid Smith big money and he was going to start no matter what.Just like Pat Mahomes had sit on the bench last year. All i know is every time his job has been on the line he made the roster. The only time he gets to play is the pre season and he always puts up good numbers.

He means that he is among the top-100 quarterbacks in the country.

All comers

Two per state

Pretty dang elite.

He'd be a good pick up for Tennessee. I love Mariota, but I'm not sold on him being the long term solution for the Titans. Not saying Bray would come in and set the world on fire, but he seems to be further ahead as a passer. He'd definitely be an upgrade over Blaine Gabbert.

Exactly. Not too many better jobs out there than Backup NFL QB. You make pretty good money and you get to keep your body mostly in tact.

Great point. He's earned 3.6 million in his 6 years in the league. Not bad for a 27 year old. More than the average American will earn in an entire career. If he has any investment sense/ financial self discipline, he will end his NFL career some day in very good financial shape.

He didn't take a lot of hits in the NFL either or at Tennessee for that matter (maybe 5% of the hits JG takes in a year, he took in his career).

Standard move, he's still going to be with the team. He was released after the preseason, then re-signed to the practice squad. When Trubisky was injured, Bray was signed from the practice squad to the active roster. Now that he's healthy, they need that roster spot for another OL for the postseason. So he's released and once he clears waivers Thursday, they'll put him back on the practice squad.

I guess beer bottle throwing motion didn’t translate to NFL football throwing motion

I still think Tyler Bray has crazy arm talent and is better than the lower tier NFL quarterbacks.

And yet here we are. If he had as much talent as everybody on here says he does, then he should be doing a little better than 3rd string or practice squad.

Dobbs played against Oakland and in his short time in the gamw hw three an ing.
Titans would never get Dobbs. Titans are lovable losers. They win just enough to get the fans interested and then when it really counts, they may an egg.
Lost game last night when play offs was on the line.
Year Manning missed season in Indy, Titans needed to beat Indy and they are in playoffs. Indy won 1 game that year and it was against the Titans, which knocked Titans out of play off contention.
Who loses to an 0- 15 team?????

Indy is pretty good this year and have consistently gotten better every game
