Context of doing that with a Mississippi State team who also beat Auburn when they were riding high and ranked #2 and also against Texas A&M when they were ranked #6. Dont think you understand just how terrible that program was before he got there. The fact that they were even mentioned to be in the top 10 at any point was a damn miracle.
It’d be like taking Vandy to top 10

Ok, in his first year at florida, he took a 4-7 team and won 10 games with them. He also made Felipe Franks look like a halfway decent quarterback, which is in itself a work of genius.

Yea, I got it. Let's see if he wins a championship. I also don't think he is the recruiter that a UT needs. Pruitt can recruit circles around him.

It's just my opinion.

Y'all should know that I asked a family member who has a close connection with Cooter if I should expect to see Cooter ('s name listed as a possible candidate for Tennessee's OC search) tonight. She said it depends on what kind of afternoon she has and what time the kids get to sleep.

I'll let y'all know how it goes and who our next OC will be a little later.

Seen this story before. It ends in you going to sleep with blue balls

I looked back at our top ranked recruiting classes. I know that I don't have to tell you all this, but to say that this team lacks talent is an understatement. Looking back at the two top ranked classes it is crazy the attrition and the lack of impact these we can see there.

Out of 30 players, 14 players contributed. Again, a staggering 16 are non factors.

These were our two best classes on paper and out of 62 players, 33 never factored here. That's incredible.

Won't list the names, but in the 2016 class, 12 out of 22 players have been non factors. In the 2017 class, 15 out of 27 players have yet to be a factor here. That is 22 out of the 49 players taken in the previous two classes who, so far, have been complete non factors. Where is the talent? I admit it, I thought we had more talent than we do, but clearly, the cupboard is bare. This signing class is very, very important.

Breakerboy would kill you if he saw you calling Justin Martin average.

i've been saying this since last summer. the 15 class in particular should have been our veterans on this year's team. 2/3 of that class never even made it to the 2018 season and only 2 left for the NFL. 2 retired all together. the rest just went away for whatever reason. one of the remaining kids of that class is our long snapper.

the "talent" on this year's team was vastly overrated by many....and all those analysts that said our roster was not good, were a lot closer to being right than any of us wanted to admit.
