he took the stance that Clemson and Bama are the standard in CFB and that it should bring the rest of the game UP to their level.UGA did not look interested in that game in the first half. Texas has a good coach on their hands. I think LSU will regret not pushing more for him, at least in the long term. I really like how their DC, Orlando, called that game.
I think the targeting rule needs to be addressed this off-season.
Also, I heard Blackledge state that he thinks Clemson going against Bama again (four years in a row) is good for college FB, but he didn't really give a solid reason. I don't agree, but can anyone maybe explain to me what point he was trying to make?
not sure how that really works, but it's certainly one way to look at it. he mentioned UGA and OU as being "right there" as well.
he was just short of saying that someone needs to start knocking these guys off though........lol.
