IMO, its not about the number of stars. Stoops knows what type of player it takes to compete in the SEC. It has taken him sometime to assemble a solid team, but Kentucky is pretty good.
Butch Jones never had a clue. He recruited stars and style almost exclusively. Sometimes he got it right, but usually, he did not. Pruitt is looking for the same type players as Stoops. He will do a better job than Stoops recruiting. It should take about 3 recruiting classes and lots of Valium for our crazy ass fans, but we will be highly competitive. SEC Champs? Not sure if he's the guy or not.
