Call ahead to order them. They generally dont have them available. Come in orders of 20 and less than 10 bucks. Add buffalo sauce or dont, good either way
They are good. Publix 8 pc fried chicken here in Lebanon is very good as well. Puts Walmart and Kroger to shame.

Diaz fires multiple coaches. This is his ballgame and that’s clear.

Weird to me Yurich isn’t official or unofficially somewhere. Seems like a lot of unknown even with links to OSU.

We have 5 days to have an OC for recruiting, do we hit that deadline?

Well, I think it’s pretty ridiculous the standard the guy is held to - a standard no one else on the team is held to. I guess it’s because he was such a highly ranked prospect.

It’s my opinion that most of his problems are directly related to 3 years of inconsistent coaching and the lack of talent around him. I’ve seen him be a top level QB when given time to set and throw.

The way he gets bashed around here is ridiculous and I can promise you we will be much worse off if he transfers.

Expect Yurcich’s situation to become clear shortly after the Rose Bowl. Tomorrow at latest.

JG has his flaws but we haven't seen him put in a position to succeed. I feel like he progressed last year at getting rid of the ball quicker and pre-snap reads.... obviously still room for improvement but those areas were also made to look worse by awful OL play.

I'm hoping he meshes well with the new OC and has a great year. OTH, I would love for Shrout to be so good that he can't be kept off the field. If that happens, would still want JG on scholarship in 2019....even Bama couldn't make it through a year with one QB and our OL won't be close to their level.

New UM coach Manny Diaz dismissed his offensive coaching staff, including coordinator Thomas Brown on Monday, according to two sources.

Meanwhile, Diaz has interest in former North Carolina coach Larry Fedora for his offensive coordinator job. There could be additional candidates as well, but an associate said Diaz holds Fedora in high regard.

The UM assistants dismissed, according to associates: Brown, quarterbacks coach Jon Richt, offensive line coach Stacy Searels, receivers coach Ron Dugans and tight ends coach Todd Hartley.

I like JG. I think he's a quality kid. I think he's got the physical tools. I just don't think he's got that "it" factor. I think his limitations are between his ears. I'm not sure whether it's because of his lack of/inconsistent coaching, or he just doesn't have the genetic makeup. For his own sake, if he can't get it done here, I hope he does transfer to a place he can succeed. Like I said, he's a quality kid that's worked his tail off and has taken a beating on many occasion for his efforts. I'm pulling for him regardless of whether it's here or somewhere else.

Yeah, I feel for him, too. It's been a revolving door at OC and he hasn't had the training and consistency he's needed. The constant conflict and OL issues have been tough on him. I hope he can finish his career strong. He deserves that.

Thomas Brown is entering his third season as the Hurricanes’ offensive coordinator. In addition to his duties as Miami’s offensive coordinator, Brown also coaches the running backs.

Miami’s offense enjoyed a strong 2017 under his guidance, with Travis Homer earning second-team All-ACC recognition despite taking over as starting running back five games into the season due to a season-ending injury to All-ACC junior Mark Walton. In total, four Hurricanes on the offensive side of the ball were named All-ACC with another three earning Honorable Mention recognition.
Under his watch in 2016, sophomore running back Mark Walton became just the 11th running back in Miami history to rush for 1,000 yards in a season. Walton rished for 1,117 yards and 14 touchdowns, averaging 5.3 yards per carry.

Brown spent the 2015 campaign on Mark Richt’s staff at Georgia where he coached the Bulldog running backs. During Brown’s time with the Bulldogs, Georgia rushed for 2,513 yards (194.3 yards per game).

In 2015, he oversaw running back Sony Michel as he rushed for 1,076 yards. Michel became the 13th Bulldog in school history to rush for at least 1,000 yards in a season.

Before arriving at Georgia, Brown coached Heisman Trophy runner-up Melvin Gordon at Wisconsin in 2014. Gordon posted the second-best season ever by a running back with 2,587 rushing yards and 32 total touchdowns. He and sophomore Corey Clement combined to run for 3,536 yards to break the single-season Football Bowl Subdivision record for rushing yards by teammates that had been set the year before by Gordon and James White (3,053 yards).

Sounds like a guy that could be a candidate for our opening. Tons of overlap with our coaching staff.

Please provide a one time recap request for an extremely hungover vol fan on the JG transfer talk... I would normally read the last 30 pgs on my morning constitutional (tmi) with glee/ BVS, what have you, lol. If he didn’t win the job out right last ur I could see it. JG is loyal to fault... He a beating last yr on & off the field. Give the man a better OL...Going back to sleep now, Happy New Years VN

JG is not transferring unless someone beats him out for the job. And unless we bring in a big time grad transfer like Francois, there's no reason to believe that will happen. So I'm not sure why y'all are having this conversation.

Because it’s a message board maybe? We discuss things regarding the Tennessee football team.

Someone said they heard some surprising transfers were going to happen. Then it became I hopecJG doesn't transfer. Then it became I hope he does....

Wharton won't be drafted or get a combine invite. I guess he's focusing on working out and hoping for a free agent opportunity. Did he burn the bridge at Cal... I wonder if can he participate in Pro Day there?
Not quite sure what would give you the inclination that he burned a bridge. I can assure you that type of character would have never have made it pass admissions board st Cal. Wharton respectively declined. Also people sometimes come from other schools and participate at neighboring schools pro day. Why would they exclude their 9th all time best wr. Now that wouldn't make sense. They also had their SR running back break his collarbone in the 1st quarter of that meaningless bowl game. Personally I don't understand why any college players play in these pointless bowl games. If it's not fo National Championship then why are we playing.

Sorry for the length of the post in advance, but some on here don't get what it takes to get what they want and we can knock a lot of that out if they choose to read.

No program succeeds at a high level without a competent QB for that level - good or elite. You can get to that 9-10 win mark with good QB play along with good to even elite level talent around him, but you will not get to elite as a team. That's the situation with JG. He cannot lift the team on his shoulders and will them to win. He needs strong talent around him to perform at a good level. So the only question is whether it is worth another year delaying Shrout or Mauer while JG learns yet another offensive scheme before he leaves UT for good. Maybe he chooses a different path on his own - we will see.

Bama got to elite with exceptional talent around the good QB until Tua came along. But it was because nobody had their level of roster talent. Now they have both. Clemson was the next to get there with the elite talent upgrade around just a good QB until - Watson came along to complete the package. UGA is working on the same concept. With the roster talent upgrade, they will soon learn if Fromm can step up to elite. We know he is very good. But there are already two programs that are fully elite ahead of them. So they have more work to do to prove it up.

That didn't exist when Bama first started dominating. Bama and Clemson have now separated themselves with UGA trying to join in. Dabo was laughed at for years for never being able to win big games. Who's laughing now? CJP knows all this and IMO, this is why he is being so careful with his OC hire. He knows the elite QB arrives on campus in 2020 and he needs an OC who will stay here that he can trust who will develop Bailey and the O to elite. By then the talent upgrade around him will be well underway to nearly completed.

As fans we want a 2 year turnaround when even with elite coaches it takes 3+ to get to the potential playoff level. I see this being a 4-6 year deal for CJP because he has to get there as a HC along with getting his staff/system ingrained into the program's DNA. He was delayed a year on O due to Helton. The rest is well underway and the roster is getting seriously upgraded. As fans - stay the course - grind - strain. No more hot sauce needed.
