So, Rob Lewis was on with Jimmy Hyams and I was listening on the way home. A couple interesting things:

Both Rob and Jimmy seemed to agree that Freeze was blocked by the SEC.

Jimmy said he was told Yurcich was the guy after the group of three interviews we heard about. He said they got as far as contract negotiations and that’s where it fell apart. Both he and Rob agreed that Yurcich is dead and we have moved on.

Jimmy clarified his earlier comment about Sark and said that, out of a list of candidates Jimmy read off to his source, that only Sark was confirmed as someone we even have a passing interest in right now.

Both Rob and Jimmy agreed that we will be talking to Sark soon but that he doesn’t already have the job and neither feel comfortable saying he’s the top choice.

Freeze was the guy from the moment the position came open. Can’t help that sec or whoever blocked it.

If we really did offer yurcich 1.3 like i was told then he must be getting a hell of an offer osu or just love working for Gundy (which is really possible he has it made).

Yes but most defensive minded coaches like havingn a ball control offense that takes very few risks. Pruitt is going the exact opposite as that. ITs a good move.

I was talking with my buddy about this earlier. Truly seems like Pruitt is willing to do whatever he has to do to win.

I still can’t believe Marvin Lewis actually got fired. Lol

I read it was mutual. I listened to ESPN radio yesterday, and they said Lewis had his own choice whether to stay or leave. They said he could have stayed as long as he wanted because their organization is run just a little bit different than others.
