I wanna say the package deal you are thinking of involved D’arick Rogers?

No, Bo was WAY before that.

This was around 2004 or 2005. I think we recruited Bo to help us get Daniel Brooks (and we passed on Patrick Willis). It was right about the time I started following recruiting and was baffled why we signed a two star qb, and I remember the folks on Volchat speculating it was to help land Brooks.

You think doctors today get kickbacks for prescribing drugs? I don't know what world you are living in. Let me be the first to tell you that I am a physician and know many more doctors than you ever would. The vast majority of us care about our patients and have worked and studied our asses off to give the best advice and information. Statins are AMAZING medicines that save lives in people with ASCVD. You think statins are money makers for physicians?? Get the **** out. We love not prescribing medicines, but they are an adjunct to lifestyle measures that save lives.

I just hope people around you aren't neglecting their physicians for your "medical advice". Recommending diet only in someone with an a1c of 10? That's medical neglect

You obviously know more than most about the benefits of statins. However I know 2 different people, 1 doctor and 1 a NP that will confirm free trips from precribing statins. Also I have a relative that definitely died from taking statins. Another friend of the family that it was highly suspected did. I know numerous friends and relatives that could not handle the side effects and prefer to feel good before they die instead of taking them.

Truce @HankHill ? The issue is that the Vandy and Mizzou losses were horrific and made us both wanna puke...

We just REALLY differ on who's to blame. I hope for both our sakes that I'm more right than you, because if not we are reaaaallly screwed going forward. I hope we don't see bad losses due to piss poor effort from anybody going forward.
Sounds good. It’s in the past. Need to hire an oc now

As long as you don’t open dumb f@&$ing units like the “office of institutional effectiveness” and pay six figure salaries to administrators who make busy work for everyone else, I’d apply as faculty.
I think you meant for this to be in an email but I'm not entirely sure

Did you have an agenda to fire Butch?...yes you did, admit it.

Were you right, and I wrong?..Yes you absolutely were...in spades...see I admit it.
What’s wrong with having an agenda to fire Butch? I had an agenda to fire Butch once I realized he sucked as a HC.

Maybe the better word is subagenda, because my real agenda is the success of UT football, and I will always have a subagenda to want to see any coach fired who stands in the way of that.

They are both probably better head coaches than Matt Luke but isn’t a sign of great leadership, great assistants?
Look at Sweeney. His assistants have saved his arse. Speaking of which I remember a few of the insiders threw out the Clemson QB, Streeter, as a coach as a possible OC f/ Vols. Thinking if we dont' hear anything on Sark, Yurcich, or Long by COB on Wednesday it's time to put him and that Princeton OC, Gleeson, at the top of the list.

Agreed. I supported CBJ until he proved he couldn’t coach just like Dooley although he proved it much earlier than CBJ. I knew Dooley couldn’t coach after the LSU game. I have severe doubts about Pruitt after the Missouri and Vandy games. The defense looked terrible and the team played like it had given up on Pruitt. It is troubling

That worries me about Pruitt, he has/had surrounded himself with two inexperienced, unknown coordinators. He doesn’t seem interested in hiring a proven college coordinator this time around either but I am hopeful that will change

That’s basically how i feel. I think it’s oerfectl fine to have doubts too. Hopefully this year is much better. I’m sure JP has some serious adjusting to do himself going from great programs and head coaches to running the whole show himself
