pounds of baby fat vs pounds of muscle. Who wins? Gotta get to work and don’t let up. I hope nobody out works us anymore.

Besides Trey Smith and maybe Richmond even though he does not play like it those are the only guys on the line that looked the part. As far as the d line you know it’s bad when a juco guy like Gooden comes who has not been in a great S&C program and comes in looking the part. Same can be said for Wood-Anderson.

With all the resources over that and coach Fitz I believe we will be looking a little better come fall.

We ( meaning powers at be ) have SMALL understanding of HOW to identify and hire proven head coaches. This is the main root of all our problems. Not recruiting, and not development of recruits.

This is not my judgement of cjp either, the man obviously still has time in my mind to prove he can be an sec championship winning coach.

Yeah, if smaller also meant quicker, maybe we'd be in better shape, but smaller and slower isn't a good model. I'm marginally optimistic that our OL play will get a good bit better...getting Kennedy back, another year in S/C program for upperclassmen, and infusion of top flight OL frosh prospects.

We were a good 5 pounds lighter in the OL than everyone in the SEC except for Arkansas and they were still bigger. Thanks Butch, Dooley, Hamilton, Booger Picker and the radical feminist Chancellor from the west coast (forget her name).
