No. Fans hid behind that as a reason, If he was a proven good HC that would not have been used against him. Just like fans didn’t care about Briles or Freeze baggage and would argue why Schiano’s baggage is somehow soooooo much worse.

The ones that complained about Schiano’s baggage and not Briles or Freeze are hypocritical
Very true and I am one of those in that group. I didn't want Schiano because I think he would have been a disaster so when the outrage began I went along. If the allegations against him are true obviously that's a non starter but we can't know for sure on those but the end result is we dodged a bullet..

Doctors get massive kickbacks for prescribing drugs. Thats a fact. If you choose to not believe that then thats on you. Sorry but patients are seen as customers. Many doctors are not interested in cures. Only managing diseases. Go to any doctor and get some blood drawn. Say your cholesterol comes back as 350. What do you think they will say? Oh you need to be on a statin. Why? Because of money. They know the whole high cholesterol/heart disease association has been debunked. Yet they continue to push it. Its ridiculous. There is no cure all way of eating. But the less carbohydrates you eat, especially if you are overweight or insulin resistant, the better off you are.

I have eaten nothing but meat and eggs for almost 2 years and I would put my labs up against anyones.

You think doctors today get kickbacks for prescribing drugs? I don't know what world you are living in. Let me be the first to tell you that I am a physician and know many more doctors than you ever would. The vast majority of us care about our patients and have worked and studied our asses off to give the best advice and information. Statins are AMAZING medicines that save lives in people with ASCVD. You think statins are money makers for physicians?? Get the **** out. We love not prescribing medicines, but they are an adjunct to lifestyle measures that save lives.

I just hope people around you aren't neglecting their physicians for your "medical advice". Recommending diet only in someone with an a1c of 10? That's medical neglect

Oh, just stop man.
The number one reason I didn't want Schiano was his baggage from the NFL. I have absolutely zero respect for someone who would try to take out player's knees.

2. When it comes to Freeze, I don't give a rat's azz what two consenting adults do. But if Freeze had been linked to trying to hurt players, I don't want him either

3. I will never understand the incessant need to tell everyone else what their thoughts are.
I know exactly how I felt about the two different situations, you don't.

Seriously,. Enough.
Speak for yourself, because you don't have the right to do so for the rest of us.

Could see Schiano and Butch Jones being candidates at Temple. Hopefully they're smart enough to go a different direction. Wonder if they could get Monken away from Army?

The only real difference in that game and the rest of his time here was that he ran under center with a FB 4-5 times (and NU had no film on that either).

Our offense did work against Northwestern because they didn’t have the personnel to match up with Dobbs/Hurd/Kamara/Malone.

But this play call tho...

There is an interesting article in today's Atlanta paper about Mark Richt. It points out that his last championship of any type was the SEC in 2005. He couldn't get it done at Miami in spite of having access to a great recruiting base (just like Georgia). The conclusion is that times have changed and he hasn't. He is an old style coach whose methods no longer work. I can think of a number of other former coaches who fit this profile (including one of our own). I am ok with hiring a "pro-style" OC, but the pro-style ain't what it used to be!

1. Broncos (Elway will get the coach what they need to get it done)
2. Packers (Rogers is too much of a Diva, but can easily compete for Division every year)
3. Browns (Still missing many pieces on D)
4. Jets (Don't know what we have yet in Darnold)
5. Bucs (Terrible QB deal with Winston)
6. Cardinals (Rosen is Cutler)
