Mullen did a good job. I would rather have Pruitt.

This...all day. And this is coming from someone whose top 2 choices when Butch was fired were Jimbo and Mullen. I believe Mullen is a damn good coach; but, after learning about Pruitt when his name came up, and now a year into his tenure, I thank the football gods it worked out the way it did.

And so they fired the guy and moved on before the program culture got bad and expectations were lowered. UT would have kept Mac a couple more years. Just like it didn’t with Butch.

You said the players expected to win, they didn’t and the team culture was awful. Players quitting, not being held accountable, ect.
To act like Mullen inherited a team that was coming off a decent season and was determined to have a good season is ridiculous.

You should have seen UF practices when Mullen got there.... They couldn’t block or complete a freaking pass

Yep. Difference is we've got the funds to shop at Nordstrom but we choose Wal-Mart. Sometimes we shop at Wal-Mart and fudge around until the shelves are empty and we end up at dollar General.

My contention is that Mullen has one thing on Pruitt, experience. I think Mullen may have had a better first year at Tennessee due to his experience. I think Pruitt may have a higher, long term ceiling. Next year will tell me a lot. Don't expect huge improvement but if we're getting blown out by Vandy and Missouri, I'll definitely start to question that.

Four previous years at UF: 30-20

Why can’t we just say that Mullen did a really good job this year?

UF SEC record last 4 years- 21-13

UT- 11-21

We kept Schiano out of Knoxville because his ties to Penn st. Not because he sucked as a coach. I didnt want him becsuse of the first line, but I didnt want him either for the fact that he sucked.
