I’m not saying that. I’m saying Mathews literally threw out the most generic statement that could apply to any candidate. Think of the scenarios:

TN hires Yurcich on the 4th.
TN hires Sark on the 3rd
TN hires mark richt on the 14th
TN hires Jason Garrett on the 22nd.

Which one of those is Doug wrong on based on him saying (paraphrasing) “Tn knows who they are going to hire, it’s 95% done”

The Giants were 4-7 in one score games. Not like they get blown out. Plus, it’s the Giants-Cowboys where records don’t matter. I did not expect the Cowboys to even show up. The Cowboys won without 3 pro bowlers. Oh well, at least it was entertaining.
