Florida with Mullen does not scare me with Pruitt as our coach

Mullen’s stock is rising in my eyes, and I’m still not sure what we’ve got in Pruitt.

Discouraging how quickly he has Florida playing ball when they were just as bad as us last year. I stick by my stance that Pruitt has the higher ceiling and lower floor

Expectations...alma mater $6 mil a year level. Exceeded every one at his previous stops but making your own great again can be a different animal.

I know, but it is crazy how it just hasn't worked out as well as they hoped, and I believed it would. It is a great example of how crazy unfair/unfounded expectations can retard success. That is big reason why I think great patience, great support, and holding down evrn the warranted criticism from our insane, success starved fanbase is critical to our future..

Pruitt absolutely must succeed in at least building a foundation for future success, if he can't really achieve it himself, and our almost unconditional support, even if it is really unearned, is needed to help make that happen.

Lol I’m just saying man. They won 4 games last year. (I know they forfeited a win) and the year prior, we dominated them and had the same record.

Mullen is a damn good coach. It’s ok to admit that.

I have admitted that..over and over and over again.

I will never admit he was a great option for UT..good option yes, and with the right circumstance, could mayne have succeeded, but it could, and I think would, have ended really badly for him and us both. The expectations for him here would have been insane and unbearable. He would have gotten way less of a honeymoon than JP, and JP is getting almost none. When his recruiting inevitably tanked, it would have gotten ugly..reaaally ugly, reaaally fast.

If his name was Joe Smith everybody would think he had done a great job.

Yes, if the Michigan coach was some no name it would be a fine job done. But it isn’t. It’s a guy who was touted as on the level of Saban and Meyer and, four years in, his best season is 10-3, 4 straight losses to Ohio State, 0 division titles.

Given the expectations I think it’s indisputable that he has underachieved.

I know enough connected people down here to know this is not true. People on his coaching staff thought they were going to Tennessee. Then Florida came calling, and he ghosted Bermuda John.

wonder what the average recruiting ranking VA has had the past 3-4 yrs compared to USCe? This is just embarrassing. Muschump. QB leaving among others, we may just have a chance against them next year at this rate...
