Plus..@chavisut...I would not have hated hiring mehlan, I just don't think it was the best marriage for either...hence the..Meh.

I don't think the guy could recruit like he would have to at UT to succeed long term. He would not have been a bad hire...just Meh.

I do wonder why his Meechegan teams are not taking on his personality more..it is weird. He should be killing it there. I mean really killing it, not this smoke and mirrors routine.
Its that old school philosophy. A lot of i formation and 2 man routes. You arent beating high quality teams like that. He can get away with it in the BIG (except osu and msu when they are good).

He doesn't have any creativity in their offense. Very predictable

Still wouldn’t want Mullen. Yes he’s a good coach but he’s also a weirdo. Dude is cringeworthy so often. Give me cornbread 10/10 times.

And most of all it takes an elite recruiting HC at Tennessee to be successful. Mullen is not that. He’d be in the 20’s right now at UT in the ‘19 class and those singing his praises right now, because they’re beating an overrated B1G team, would be calling for his head.

Wow Bass...you've really come around on Sark.
The more I think about it the more I realize that Sark checks every single box that we need. Experience at a high level and someone that Pruitt can and will trust are the most important things imo. What difference does it make if we bring in Yurcich if he isn't allowed to run his show. I think Sark is able to do his thing. He's the guy I want.

How many games did Florida win last year?
C'mon man it is obviously a different squad made up of better stuff..you know how I feel about our roster, and a ton of media professionals, and UT players and coaches have backed up my feelings about it. Please lets not drag that crap up again...it just pisses everybody off at me.

So that’s what happened to Zach Gentry! Remember when I wanted him as a QB prospect before he committed to the Longhorns. Harbaugh flipped him and he got recruited over at QB. Switched to TE and I remember thinking we dodged a bomb. NFL prospect now.

Who’s to say Pruitt wouldn’t let Yurcich run his offense?

I agree, but I just wonder if he is willing to make the jump back into college. I think the guy would make a good CFB HC again if he has defeated his personal demons. I think his future is as a CFB head coach. Peterson would not be doing as well as he is at UW if not for Sarks heavy lifting there.

FSU corner commit Akeem Dent says Tennessee is among the schools on him hardest. Also mentioned Clemson, Miami, UF and Auburn are pushing for a flip. Dent was a bit all over the map with his comments Friday, saying his commitment to FSU is strong but that he also is still mulling things over and has a final decision to make.

He noted that he has a strong relationship with Vols safeties coach Charles Kelly, who saw Dent all three weeks during the December visit period. He said that Kelly knows his mom personally, so anything Tennessee's coach tells his family means it's genuine.

Expectations...alma mater $6 mil a year level. Exceeded every one at his previous stops but making your own great again can be a different animal.

Amen..that is exactly how I feel about him and UT. I do believe he is a good coach though. He is just in the perfect sitch for him and Florida both. It is a perfect marriage imo.
