Heard he can't get in Bama as well. Scored like a 12 or something on ACT. That's what @UncontrollaVOL'sBIL said (just realized BIL created an account and decided to join in). This annoys me because I know that if it’s admissions that’s the stumbling block, you know Auburn will always be able to get a player in.

I suspect its going to be a juggernaut for a while. Its more about the system now.
They got him in by classifying him as "learning disabled." I think it was Dan Brooks that discovered the loophole.
This is correct, Travis Henry was able to take the ACT/SAT by having someone read him the questions verbally and he answered verbally due to him being classified "Learning Disabled". He passed. None of the Florida schools could believe it when UT was able to get him qualified.
i've not ever heard of that accomodation for seeing people. is this for real or just hearesay? also, i have a fair amount of experience with LD as it applies to college in that time frame. not saying youre FOS just a lot of bullcrap out there.
I don't have 1st hand knowledge of this. It was publicly told by a couple media members (don't recall who) when Henry was still in school or shortly after Henry left school. I had no idea of this rule either. They also said the Florida schools gave up on him due to his academics and UT coaches never gave up on him and found the LD loophole so he could take the SAT verbally.
