If he wins, no one will care about the comment. Our local media portraying it as a "bad look" is completely laughable.View attachment 185841
I like how Pruitts words were taken out of context. He said that in recruiting an OC is sometimes overrated because the players commit to the Head Coach. They don’t commit to an OC who could be gone in a year or two.
That being said some players do commit to an OC or a QB coach because of how well they did at other places. But, this is definitely taking his words out of context.
12th in the league (overall) and #2 rushing is not sucking. Especially considering the QB transition but don’t let facts get in your way
Scoreless tie after regulation, neither team manages to even kick a field goal after 4 overtimes, and then bad weather cancels the game.Florida and Michigan. Who you guys got?
Bonus points for creative ways of saying that you hope they both lose.
The fact is Pruitt is right.
If you don't have players who OC is is overrated. The problem is the OC elevates every roster if they are good. Helton didn't do that this year and that is why we didn't go bowling.
Jimmies and Joes can win us 8-9 games but we better get a damn good OC or elite recruiting won't do better than we did under the last staff.
