Hyams on OC

JP needs an OC he is comfortable with so he can be the HC and help the defense come along. If it's a no name that's fine as long as he's good. Butch's no name coaches were the best group he had and every upgrade didn't work out except for Wilcox.

Thought about him watching the Cal game, would he be a good HC for UT? I think he would be very good.

I think he’ll do good things for Cal, but I don’t think he’s elite by any means. And I think Pruitt has a much higher ceiling. Also, if I’m remembering properly, Word was he wasn’t overly fond of living in Knoxville for whatever reason

They could hire me. If UT scores only 1 touchdown next season, I fit Hyams litmus test. Underrated! o_O

Not that it matters much, or maybe it does, Freeze just hired Kent Austin as OC/QB coach at Liberty. Haven't heard his name in a while. Bentwood Academy lightweight.;)

I'm convinced it will be someone he knows over someone he doesn't. Either has worked with, played with or coached them.

I honestly think Sark will be the guy unless he turns down the job. Pruitt will hire someone he has a history with most likely or he will hire someone that has a history with someone he trusts which vouched for that person.
